The year 2024 holds many uncertainties for China: the economic situation in the country is difficult. Podcast host Johannes Heller-John talks to the German-Chinese journalist Shi Ming, an expert on China's domestic politics. He works for leading media outlets as a freelance journalist. In the summer of 2024, Shi Ming was a Senior Fellow at MERICS.
