On May 14, Donald Trump is expected to travel to Beijing for meetings with Xi Jinping. Prior to the trip, MERICS is delighted to invite you to an online briefing on Wednesday, May 13th at 9:00 CEST.

The meeting, originally delayed due to the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran, comes at a moment of deep structural tension between the world's two largest economies.
