Koki Shigenoi

Koki Shigenoi is a research associate at Asia-Pacific department, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), and a research fellow at National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS Alliance). He is completing his PhD at Doshisha University. His research focuses on Indo-Pacific affairs, economic security, and Japan's foreign and security policies. Prior to joining KAS, he served as a research and analysis specialist at the Intelligence and Analysis Service, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. He was also a visiting researcher at Al Jazeera Centre for Studies and Hamad Bin Khalifa University.
