A conversation with the EU’s top diplomat in Taiwan, Lutz Guellner

On March 6 from 15:00 to 16:00 CET, MERICS held a confidential conversation with Lutz Guellner, Head of the European Economic and Trade Office in Taiwan.

Guellner has been the top EU diplomat in Taiwan since 2024. He will share his insights into Taiwan’s current political and economic dynamics, relations with the People’s Republic, the United States and Japan, as well as the expanding ties between Taiwan and Europe.
