Esther Goreichy

Esther Goreichy is a Visiting Fellow at MERICS. She focuses her research on China’s external relations and their economic and trade implications. Prior to joining MERICS, she was head of sector for Foreign economic policy, competition and legal affairs at the economic service of the French Embassy in Germany., She previously held the position of deputy head of the Industry, Innovation, and Knowledge Economy Unit at the French Ministry of Economy. She also worked in competition economics, at the French Competition Authority and for a consultancy specialized in Competition. 

Esther holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in the Economics of Markets and Organizations from the Toulouse School of Economics.
