European China Policy Track 1.5 Workshop

The fifteenth round of the European China Policy Track 1.5 Workshop will take place in Brussels on April 16-17. 

The event will once again convene senior officials from major EU member states and the European Commission, alongside leading China experts from the European think tank community. Initiated and coordinated by MERICS, the European China Policy Track 1.5 Workshop series offers a venue for discussing and recalibrating European China policy at a time of major disruptions. The workshop takes place in a confidential and informal setting, allowing for open exchanges in a circle of trusted colleagues and peers.

Countries participating in the workshop series currently include Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain and Sweden, as well as EU institutions. Participation from ministries is on the level of heads of Asia or China desks as well as policy planning, alongside leading think tank experts from each country.
